Most the paintings in this exhibition are framed in old fashion frames. This is an experiment to see how a painting relates to its frame. The frames have been bought in various stores in Cold Spring and have been polished and gilded. Each frame has been chosen with regard to a specific painting in an attempt to highlight and complement its theme and colours.
